Surface Preparation - Restoration

All wood surfaces (except new, unstained wood) need to be thoroughly cleaned before it is treated. Wood surfaces with previous stains or coatings are evaluated and removed using a chlorine-based solution, which also removes mold and mildew, fungus, dirt and pollution as well as brightens the wood.  This process will restore your wood to almost the natural color. After 24 hours of drying time, the wood is then ready for the preservation process.

Area Preparation

Landscaping, pools and decking, as well as porous surfaces are carefully covered to prevent damage from overspray. Great care is taken to minimize the effects of overspray.

Stain Application

The stain is applied using an airless sprayer with a 2-coat wet-on-wet process.  This process provides a deep-penetrating application that will last for years to come.
